Walking your dog or playing at the dog park should be a fun and stress free experience. But, sometimes incidents occur that can be upsetting or intimidating to you and your pup. Understanding good dog etiquette can provide us all a safer environment to enjoy our walks.

 

Please look a the chart on the right to see the appropriate way to ensure good interactions with other dogs. And please remember, when you are in the dog park or walking on Leisure Village Way you should be paying attention to your dog and not spending your time on your cell phone or engrossed in a conversation with others. 

 

Making sure your dog is not doing inappropriate things and being aggressive is most important so that we don't have any more incidents of one dog attacking another at the dog park or on LVW. We do not want any of our beautiful fur babies injured.
